The Tricks

Inst. #12 – The sign RIP “WEIGHT LIMIT 13” occurs immediately after executing the R at Gould Rd in instruction 11. You should have executed the OR by making a left on Wooley Rd. There was a slight <0.1 mile shortage if you were off course. If you were off course, you would have seen QUESTIONS #2 & #3.

Inst. #18 – You are put “onto” Ridge Rd. It turns right after the L at STOP. You would have seen QUESTION #5 after the right turn to stay on Ridge Rd. Off course was about 0.6 miles longer and you would have seen QUESTION #6.

Inst. #22 – You should have executed the EITHER, S at SOL Kitchell Lake Dr, since you can’t turn “onto” a sign. Off course was about 0.8 miles longer and you would have seen QUESTIONS #7 & #8.

Inst. #28 – You should have executed the OR, since when traveling down Stonetown Rd just past the firehouse on the left, the straight ahead rule applies which would put you on Magee Rd. Magee Rd ends at Westbrook Rd where you would execute the L at STOP. If you missed the straight at Magee Rd, the off course loop would have added more than 4 miles.

Inst. #32 – After executing this instruction the straight ahead priority exists and you should have left Conklintown Rd and gone straight up Lenape Rd, which comes to a T at Channing Drive. Off course was only about 0.2 miles longer, but you would have seen QUESTION #9.

Inst. #38 – You should have turned at the second Poplar Dr, which occurred after “HIDDEN DRIVE”. If you didn’t, you would have been about 1.0 mile short.

Inst. #40 – This is really a Treat – You must have executed the EITHER, since the OR doesn’t exist.

Inst. #51 – You were put “onto” Eagle Valley Rd in instruction #50. After you find yourself on Route 17 North, Eagle Valley Rd is found on the left at the SIG. You should have made the left to carry out the “onto” route following priority which would bring you back around on Route 17 North after executing the OR part of instruction #51. If you executed the EITHER part, S at Municipal Plaza at blinking signal, you would have been short about 3.5 miles.

Inst. #54 – Route 106 East goes left about 3 scenic miles after you executed the “onto”. If you didn’t make that left and went straight you would have seen QUESTION #10 and turned left to get onto Palisades Interstate Parkway. If you correctly followed the route following priority and made the left to follow Route 106 East, you would have seen QUESTION #11 and turned right to get onto Palisades Interstate Parkway one exit north of the off course entrance. Off course was about 0.9 miles shorter.

Inst. #60 – Blauvelt Rd turn right after Van Houtens nursery. Since you were put “onto” Blauvelt Rd in instruction #59, you should have turned right, executed the OR in instruction #60 and seen QUESTION #12. If you didn’t, you would have executed the EITHER. The off course was about 0.2 miles shorter.

Inst. #64 – Sickletown Rd turns left after Van Houtens nursery, which you already past in the other direction. You should have turned left to stay “onto” Sickletown Rd and then executed the EITHER in instruction #65. If you didn’t turn left, you would have executed the OR part to loop around back on course. The off course mileage was about 1.6 miles longer.
