Trick or Treat – October 2003

Special Instructions

 

Not only is it Halloween, but we are also in the midst of the colorful autumn season. We created this rallye with this in mind and have included both Tricks of the rallye masters and the Treats of both the autumnal scenery and Halloween for you.

 

There are TRICK OR TREAT? route instructions throughout the rally. Are they TRICKS or TREATS? You’ll find out. You may also encounter one or more manned checkpoints along the way. Will they be a TRICK or a TREAT for you? You may actually receive a special TREAT.

 

We will be driving through 2 state park areas so DRIVE SLOWLY & CAREFULLY to avoid the creatures within. Excluding the odometer leg, the length of today’s event is about 90 miles, including several long sections included for you to enjoy the fall colors and scenery. 

 

 

1.      No information will be found on telephone poles, mailboxes, their supports or temporary signs.

 

2.      Record your mileage on the answer sheet at the start and at each CHECKPOINT to the nearest 1/100 of a mile.  (Interpolate as near as possible)

 

3.      You will have 5 hours to complete today’s rallye. This will give you plenty of time to enjoy the scenery along the way.

 

4.      If you are lost, call the ending spot.
